I'll keep it short and sweet. Beer was good. Kobe burgers were really good. Garlic fries smelled more like garlic than tasted like garlic. Service was really nice. I could imagine parking being tricky on a busy night or weekend since it is in Market Common.

I know that most people give this place 4 stars, but with our experience I think they deserve 5. We went on a Sunday evening. The waiter we had was VERY attentive to all of our needs. He kept remembering every thing we requested. .... Trust me... Sometimes I can be high maintenance. He was very knowledgeable of the menu items and made a lot of good recommendations. I got the Pan Citrus Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus. My husband got the steak. I wanted one too, but had one the night before so I decided to go with something a little lighter. Another thing I like is they take reservations. That's always helpful at the beach. Overall we had a great meal. They have a great beer selection too. They make their own. Looks like a great place for locals. I'm looking forward to returning!

Our waiter was so wonderful! We had a fairly large group since we were in town for a family reunion. The food was great and everyone loved what they ordered. I tried the fries...wasn't a huge fan considering I'm a fry lover but I had the grilled mahi mahi and added a vinegrette dressing to add a little to it and it was delicious. Not the best ever but good nonetheless.

It was my birthday and since the German Restaurant was closed, we decided to try here. There was a 15 min wait so we sat at the bar. Food was excellent, service was good. The bartender even put my "special" order in for the seafood carbonara but with chicken instead. Husband had the grilled wild halibut and said it was fantastic! Beer was good. All in all, we loved it and will definitely make it one of our standard dinner places each time we comeback to MB.

Really appreciated that the general manager reached out to me to discuss my experience. He was very open to my feedback. He was very apologetic that the waitress didn't take care of our issue when it occurred. You can tell he really cares about what his customers think and strives to improve the quality of the customer experience in his restaurant. As mentioned in my first review, I think they have great tasting fresh beer and good appetizers. I hear good things about their happy hour specials too.

Alright, I'm gonna give you two reviews to choose from. The first is for those (like me) with a short attention span, "Oh, shiny things!" The second; a little more elaborate. Ready? Go! 1) Great place to grab a quick bite. If the weather is nice, sit outside and people-watch as you enjoy the beer sampler and the garlic fries from your shaded vantage point. This really is all you need if you're just looking to rest your feet, try the beers and nibble. 2) Picking up where the ADD review left off. I can literally see this restaurant from my back door. That said, I've eaten here more times than I can count over the years. The inside is clean, organized and it's a nice place for lunch/dinner. The food is good, but it's not 5 star cousine. I mention this only to curtail expectations since some people have no idea what this place is about. Here's a great way to size it up...Gordon Biersch is to Applebees what Target is to Wal-Mart. That's it in a nutshell. The service is also comparable. Perfectly fine and certainly enjoyable, but nothing exceptional. Things can get a little busy in the summer so if you're looking for something quiet, prepare yourself for the wait, crying babies and above average background noise. Sunburned tourists are a noisy breed! Let's get to what matters. A lot of people initially visit for the beer. They do indeed produce their own quasi-German beer, here. I've noticed an on-line effort being made to advertise "craft beer." Now, when I see "craft beer" advertised I instantly think variety; dozens of different drafts, (ales, lagers, stouts) multiple breweries to choose from, etc. If you're looking for that sort of variety, keep in mind you'll only find their (Gordon Biersch) brands here. This is limited to a half dozen or so plus the rotating seasonals. I actually don't enjoy the beer here at all. In fact, every-single-time I've had more than 2 pints, I ended up with a brutal headache. No idea what that's about!? In fairness, I've never cared for German beers. I'm an IPA guy and gravitate towards 'hoppier' Ales. Anyway, they occasionally offer the aforementioned seasonal that I enjoy more than others so be sure and ask the waitress if they have anything new. As I mentioned up top, if you're just looking to try a few out, I suggest the beer paddle. You'll get the Golden Export, Hefeweizen, Marzen, Czech and Schwarzbier. If you absolutely love one or more of them, they also offer growlers. EDIT: Just wanted to squeeze in a quick edit here. GB's has recently added a few more beers to their line. I'm sure they're on their website if you want to have a look. So, there ya have it. I'll wrap things up with a couple quick suggestions. I've enjoyed the Alaskan Salmon on more than one occasion. The salads are all excellent and the veggie pizza is always a hit with friends. This restaurant is located in the popular "Market Common" area of Myrtle Beach. There's plenty to do here so give yourself a little time to walk off dinner and relax while checking out the shops. There's also a theater on the corner, making dinner and a movie terribly convenient. Have Fun! -Neil NOTE: If you enjoyed my review and you'd like more of the same on the Myrtle Beach area, be sure and follow me on yelp. Just go to the left and click under my name where it says, "Follow on yelp" and we'll be buds!

I ate here for my boyfriends 21st birthday. Our server was absolutely excellent and upon hearing my boyfriend was going to order his first beer, he talked to the manager and got it for him on the house!! He kept our glasses full and checked in on us routinely. I haven't had such amazing, friendly service in a while! The food was also excellent - I tried southwest egg rolls and crab and artichoke dip. I am not a huge tex mex fan in general so I thought that I wouldn't like the egg rolls, but they were actually delicious! I went back for seconds! The dip was good too - I have a feeling that everything on the menu would have been just fantastic. For my main meal I was feeling a burger and I don't remember the name, but it was the best burger I've ever had in my life, swear to god. I will definitely be coming back here.

GB is becoming a must visit on my Myrtle Beach trips.. It was late for dinner so we again went with an appetizer buffet.. Crab artichoke dip, a cheese/beer soup, grilled vegetable salad, fresh dip sliders, fried calamari, and a grilled Mahi Mahi dinner with garlic spinach, and garlic mashed potatoes.. The sliders were awesome, sliced in half fit perfectly in the Au Jus dipping sauce bowl. The crab artichoke dip was a nice change from the typical cheesy concoctions served around town. The Mahi Mahi dinner was perfectly cooked, juicy, and very filling. Been here twice, and already looking forward to next visit, check them out.,

Absolutely, positively amazing!!! We had a somewhat unique situation as my bestie was having her wedding reception here. It was a destination wedding and we had kinda limited options for a reception venue, but she found this place and I can't say enough good things about them. First of all, they let us have a good chunk of their restaurant for several hours on a Saturday. We got to the restaurant at about 7am to set up some things (even though they don't open until 11) and Jason the manager let us in. Before we got there, they had even put all the table cloths on for us (that they special ordered because they normally don't do table cloths). He offered to help us, but we had enough hands, so we were all set. We were there about an hour and a half setting up and he put all the storage bins away for us in the back so we didn't have to worry about them. The wedding was finished up about 11:45, so guests started showing up about noon. They set up buffet style tables for us and delivered everything on time. Everything was absolutely delicious. We realized at one point we had misplaced something and Jason offered to have someone go get an extra. We ended up finding the item, but the gesture was very nice. I was only involved with a limited amount of planning as my friend did mostly everything, but I know she was really happy with everything and so were the guests. I'd like to mention the other manager, too, but I don't remember her name. She texted to make sure we were all good and even took a request for a last minute dressing my friend wanted. Our servers were also amazing! Thanks again to the team at Gordon Biersch!

Excellent beer. The prosciutto and Gorgonzola chips are so so good. They come with small Mushrooms and figs. Try them they, you be disappointed. Scenery is nice(people watching) and our server was great.

I still stand by what I've said about the brews here (see below) and I recently came in for more than just drinks or maybe an app. My mom recently moved to Myrtle and after we finished for the day we were looking for dinner that didn't have a drive thru. Gordon Biersch was still serving so we went in for dinner with a group of 5 adults and a child. When the first three of us arrived, we told them we had 3 more coming which was fine. They took a little longer than expected and the waitress started hinting that if they didn't order by a specific time, that the kitchen would be closed. We weren't trying to keep anyone there late but give me a break on a few minutes if that's what it comes down to. After moving all day we were tired and beaten, not really in the mood for an expensive meal or fine dining. Not that this place is fine dining but, I was surprised at some of the prices on the menu. I was eying the tuna entree but figured it wasn't necessary and opted for the cheaper pasta entree. The waitress told me they were out of pasta... what!?! How is that even possible? After being put on the spot to change my mind, I scrambled and went back to the tuna. I didn't even look again at the menu and asked what came with it. She said the quinoa and kale salad and a side. I went with the grilled veggies. When my dish came out, it was missing the veggies. I think that maybe it didn't come with a side in the first place but I was going off of what she said. They corrected the issue and brought out a huge side of veggies. They were a bit late but they fixed the issue. For the price I felt like the amount of tuna was a little light but it was tasty. Nobody seemed to have any other issues with their food and the service, although a little off, was pleasant. As I outlined in my last review of this spot, it's not a bad place, it's just not a great one either.

From the very beginning this restaurant was amazing our waiter Joe gave us recommendations out of every category which let us to eat a gastropub burger and my Blackwood bourbon whiskey salmon.Joe also recommended a few beers one of which was a Hefeweizen and I can't remember the other but they were both very very good. They have a selection of beer including the ones I had that are brewed in house. for dessert we had the bread pudding Apple something or another once again recommended by Joe and it was to die for our whole experience with this restaurant is definitely a 5 star rating at a two or three star price. we highly recommend for any tourist or even in towners to go in because it is such a great place. If I were you I would ask for Joe because he guided us through the whole menu as it was our first time.

Not really a fan anymore. They got rid of the Rueben a few years back, and nothing else has really wowed me. The only excitement is the beer sampler, where you get a few ounces of each of their brews. It's like two beers worth, and then I usually get a full glass of whichever was my favorite.

Our food was wonderful! My grilled mahi with veggies and seasonsal fruit was healthy and delish

We thought terrible was a little harsh but my chopped salad was. They were able to sub chicken with grilled asparagus but the salad was all iceberg lettuce coated in dressing. I found 6 chickpeas, a forkful of avocado, no artichoke (to the visible eye) and sprinkle of cheese. Salad is pretty basic. The lobster crab melts were tasty as an app but wicked pricey. Dan's chicken sandwich was okay. Beer is okay. All in all pricey eats for what it is. We'd suggest Liberty at the boardwalk on the beach. Great beer and food.

Excellent food, bold tastes. Their bread pudding dessert is to die for. Expect a lot of flavor and a lot of garlic, but delicious. Just don't go expecting a light meal. My first visit I ordered a salad and it was heavenly, but very strongly flavored- dressing and garnishments. Brunch is also lovely on Sunday. Excellent atmosphere and service.

One word, "meh". We ordered a flight and came to the conclusion that this brewery was catering to light beer lovers - not a hop amongst them. They were out of the seasonal beer so I should say we ordered almost a flight - one empty, lonely place on the description card. We also ordered the sampler platter, fried artichoke hearts, and the Kobe sliders. The sampler was basic, the best thing on it being the southwestern egg-rolls. The artichoke hearts were super plain, just fried plain ol' artichoke hearts. The Kobe sliders were gross, overcooked and with and odd flavor. Next time we are in town we will look elsewhere.

I had dinner here with my parents last week. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and has a large dining room, as well as outdoor seating. We shared the pretzels for an appetizer. They were soft, warm and quite delicious. I had the Oktoberfest burger option (I forget the real name). It came cooked exactly as I asked and was served in a pretzel bun with Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard and sauerkraut. The burger was awesome, but the sweet potato fries were cold and tasteless. My parents enjoyed the sausage platter and salmon. I would not hesitate to return.

Nice spot in the market, at Myrtle Beach , which is otherwise an upscale outdoor mall for women. Has an indoor outdoor pub feel. Nice patio. But the patio chairs are very uncomfortable: you cannot fit your bum in them and must sit lopsided. Mahit fish sandwich was very good and the slaw was nicely spicy! The chicken salad has blue cheese and too much head lettuce... They should use romaine. Beer on tap hits the spot. It is a brewery. Servers were pleasant. Two thumbs up.

Thanks to the GM for his prompt response to my concerns! Get your act together Gordon Biersh. They dismantled an excellent happy hour and the food has gone down hill dramitically. Not sure if there is new management, but I am not alone in my thoughts here. The BEER is the only thing that keeps me coming back. CMON GBIERSH!

So glad we gave this place a try. While on vacation the wife and I had been looking for places to try with good food and a good beer selection, preferably on tap. This place was it although it does get pricey if you are eating and drinking. We got a sampler of all the beers they had on tap, which was about $8.50. Not too bad a price I guess when you consider there were 8 beers I think. We both loved the Maibock beer and each got one along with the cajun fish tacos and the beer battered fish and chips. Both were excellent. The service was also great. Our waitress took the time to go over each beer that we tried and checked in on us several times. Will probably be returning here each time we vacation from now on.

Okay, so we came back tonight. I am so happy to say that the Oktoberfest Platter was absolutely delicious. So glad we went back. Have to add that the Fest Beer was also delicious. Way to go, Gordon's!

We were seated right away (with reservations). Our waitress was one of the friendliest we have every encountered. She explained the menu and beer options very throughly and made one feel she was glad we had come. The food was good with the exception of the flat bread pizza which had very thin and crispy crust. The fish and chips were excellent and the deserts were very good. The restaurant was on the noisy side. We would certainly consider this restaurant as an option in future visits to the Market Common area.

Served us overcooked rice that was hard as rocks. Luckily, they had a new batch made and brought more out quickly but I'm shocked that they would serve rice like that in the first place. Wow.

Ended up here while looking for a restaurant open later than 9pm on a Monday during "winter season." Everything we ordered was really good. We ordered sangria, southwest egg rolls, blue crab and artichoke dip, and grass fed beef sliders. Bartender was very nice and personable. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town!

We go to Gordon Biersch every time we are in Myrtle Beach, we are from Charlotte, NC and we love Rock Bottoms too. We go to the beach at least once a month, and we always go to Gordon's. We go for their great Happy Hours special, the crowd is fun and the drinks are cold. Their happy hour menu is great and drink specials (prices) are awesome. We get the flat bread and hummus and for dinner the filet medallions, always cooked to perfection. The manager Jason is the best, he is friendly, and even though he is busy, always stops and says hi, and asked how we are and more importantly how's the food. This place is the best, which we had one in Charlotte, NC.

Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant in the heart of The Market Common. I got theHefeweizen for a beer choice. It had a strong banana taste but was still a summer light beer. It was on sale for $3.50. So chug-a-lug. Most of the dinner guest had a Rye Alt which was the featured beer. It was a full-bodied, balanced, malty-sweet ale. I got the beef medallions with mashed potatoes and a vegetables . They where cooked to perfection. My food was a little cold. But then again I like my food the temperature of the sun. Most of the table got the lobster mac and cheese. There was not a drop left. They all raved on how good the food was. Atmosphere was great. Price was right for the amount of food. Service was spot on. Parking was a weird so wear comfortable shoes. Will be back.

Went there for dinner on a Tuesday night The service was good but the food was not and they are way overpriced. I had the pear gorgonzola salad that was swimming in a nasty dressing..I couldn't even taste the salad.
(3)
Jessica G.
When walking into the entrance, I assumed this place would be like any other commercialized beach restaurant. That is overpriced, and lacking in the service and food department. I have been pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible, the service prompt, and the entire experience splendid. You should definitely give this place a shot. The beer is spectacular!

Had a great night out and dinner with my wife and Friends during the NFL Play Offs this week. We love the menu selection at Gordon Biersch. I had the Tuscan Chicken Pasta dish (again) it is awesome! We love the selection of micro beers and their appetizers. I recommend this restaurant if visiting Myrtle Beach.

I want to love this place so much because I live right here in Market Common. I want to support the local businesses. We've come to Gordon's weekly for the past year and it used to be great. The service has gone downhill. We've had to send orders back several times. The manager has always corrected everything and refunded us, but that's not the point. The whole dining experience is already ruined by that time. I have suggested to them they really need to step it up and they said they would. We will try again soon, but our Easter brunch was our last meal there. Orders were all wrong. Drinks never refilled. Dishes never picked up. Good luck if you go. It's hit-or-miss at the moment.

This was a wonderful idea for Linner, my wife & I shared the Herb Mahi Mahi (Delicious)!! The kids also enjoyed their cheeseburgers & pizza. The beer was light but flavorful which is ok because we didn't want to get waisted! This is a very classy brewery with fine dining, I would highly suggest visiting if ever in the area!!!

I went there with my boyfriend the other night I am a local and have been there several different times it was the absolute worst service I've ever had ever!!!! The young kid that waited on us exes like we were an inconvenience to his life... I ordered salmon he asked how I wanted it cooked I said done well done we got our food my salmon was totally raw and we had no silverware! While nobody was around our food was getting cold my salmon was wrong and I was very upset. So I got up and asked somebody behind the bar for silverware because our waiter disappeared... He never came back to the table her out 20 minutes and by then we just decided to leave I will never ever go back there again and I would not recommend it to anyone!!!

Awesome restaurant or bar. Whichever you're in the mood for. Live music in the park nearby on Thursday nights you can listen to from the patio area. I recommend trying the beer sampler. The bartenders love washing all those little glasses anyways!

We like brewery restaurants and we like Gordon Biersch. But we should have stuck to what we like. At least we would have gotten our money's worth. We order the shrimp po' boy and they were good but not enough food for the money. Great homemade chips, beer, no complaints on taste or service.

Gordon Biersch has pretty good drinks and appetizers. But damn, their sandwiches and burgers are pretty greasy. I have tried other entrees, and they were hit or miss. I like the atmosphere of the place though.

Wrong beer served. Missed salad, but delivered at the end of the meal. Burger was dry and overcooked. The beer was great though. The service was slow and obviously didn't pay attention. I was hoping for a better experience.

Consistently delicious. A nice variety of food, from appetizer to entree. I generally do not trust chains, even though this is not a large national chain, but Gordon Biersch finds a way to make it seem unique and one of a kind.

My husband and I ate here on Friday 8/22/2014. We arrived around 630pm and were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Golden Export draft beer and it as very good! Light and refreshing. We ordered the Kobe Sliders as a appetizer to share and they were very good! Very tender and juicy. I had the Brewhouse Chicken and it was to die for! I would go back and order it every time. It was amazing. My husband ordered the Woodford Reserve Bourbon Salmon and he said that it was very good but he was jealous of my meal. The next time we are in Myrtle Beach we will be going here again and both getting the Brewhouse Chicken. Not to mention the fact they went out of their way to accommodate us. My husband wanted to try the Lobster and Shrimp Mac and Cheese but didn't want the entire entree so they made him a side order just for him. We will be going back for sure!!

Maybe for the beer, no way for the food... A family of four dining on vacation and only one out of four meals were good. The burgers were served luke warm after the waiter told us the kitchen was backed up and I wish I had a scale to weigh the very tiny 1/2 pound burgers. There was no way either burger was even close to the advertised 1/2 pound! My son was excited to eat Kobe beef and was not impressed when he finished. Eat American beef I always say!! In addition the buns they were served on were practically tasteless. The salad dressing on my wife's salad had the specific weight of mercury and tasted almost as bad. Don't get the house salad! The saving grace, go figure, was my daughters grilled cheese sandwich. Very tasty and easily the best meal of the four. We should have saved $60 and ate at Bojangles....

Came in later was given the late night menu. The beef tenderloin sliders were some of the best slider I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to medium!! Hats of to kitchen, haven't run across a place in Myrtle beach yet that can cook a proper temp meat. Plenty of good brews to choose from. Great staff super friendly!

My wife and I went for happy hour. Patron margarita - $5, not bad, maybe a bit sweet for my taste. Draft beer (Märzen) - good beer, like a Newcastle meets a Yuengling Southwestern egg rolls - $5, delicious. Garlic fries - $5. You better like garlic. We do. These are a great snack.

We were looking for a new place to try for dinner, and I realized that we hadn't been to Gordon Biersch yet. While I'm generally against chains, it was something we hadn't tried yet, and the promise of beer crafted on site was enough to pique my interest. We made reservations (definitely recommended, especially on a weekend night) and headed in. We were greeted and seated after about five minutes. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and beers, which was good since I knew nothing about their beer. I tried their Blonde, which was a seasonal brew that had a nice, sweet finish to it. The missus' tried their Hefewiezen which was also good. Both were $5.25 for a large glass. I don't know how big it was but the draft glass is definitely bigger than 16oz...maybe 22oz or so. Either way, $5.25 for that quantity and quality of beer is excellent, and a great reason to come back. Next is the food. While the beer is priced reasonably, the food is definitely up there on the price scale. I ordered the Marzen BBQ Burger ($11.50) which was a delicious burger. The burger was a really good, hearty size and they actually cooked it to order (medium rare.) It came with cheese and bacon, and was topped with a BBQ sauce. The bacon was cooked perfectly, in that it wasn't super crispy but also wasn't raw and chewy. The sauce had a slight sweetness to it that really brought out the overall flavor of the burger. I got the garlic fries as a side and man, are those things addicting! These fries are cooked perfectly and have a good garlic flavor to them. Definitely a winning burger and fry combo! The missus ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna ($23.50) and that was also good. The tuna was cooked perfectly and was nice and rare, and had a good portion of fish. It was served with a tasty quinoa that complimented the tuna well. Gordon Biersch is full of lots of customers and pricey food, but the food is at least tasty enough to warrant the price. The cheap beer definitely offsets the food price slightly, and the place was good enough to make me want to go back at a later date. It might not be a "regular" place with the price and busy atmosphere, but I'd like to go back every now and then.

Amazing BBQ sandwich and they have a GF menu! Seafood Cobb salad was basic but very fresh. Kids meals were all eaten, so that is a good thing. Home made Root beer for the kids.

The food was excellent and the beer was quite yummy! Between the 4 of us we got 1 appetizer to share and an entree each. The portions were small and none of us had enough to take home as leftovers, but we definitely did not leave hungry. I think we are just so used to huge portions that we forget we don't need all of that to feel full. Everything we ordered had a lot of flavor and great presentation. The waiter was great and very knowledgeable of the menu. Offered great suggestions without being pushy. We enjoyed the beer, but were not blown away by it. Definitely recommend if you are in the Myrtle Beach/Market Commons area!!!

We went here with a very large group 30+ people for happy hour on a Friday evening. I have to say that the location is perfect. Market Common is an awesome area for Myrtle Beach; it is one of those places that completely re-imagines the beach area and does it in a very successful manner. I wasn't familiar with the restaurant before this visit and I wasn't sure about a place with a brewery theme. Once the group arrived, we were given a great location very close to the bar and we had a great bartender (Tony) taking care of the group. I had no idea what to try as a drink but once I described my taste in beers, I was directed towards the Marzen and I was very satisfied with the choice. Overall, service was great. The bartenders were very attentive and were quick to remember what we were drinking. We also had excellent servers at the tables for ordering food and appetizers. I had the Grilled Chicken Cashew Salad and the Housemade Chips. Both were well above average. The only thing I will suggest is putting a little more chicken in a salad with "chicken" in the title. While the service was excellent, it would have been nice if the food came out of the kitchen a bit quicker. There was also a little confusion on how to handle having a tab open at the bar and ordering food at the table simultaneously. In the end, the solution was just to have two open tabs. I get it; two open tabs = two tips. Overall, the experience was pleasant and our group was very well-received. I would definitely visit again for a group function or for dinner with friends. I will qualify my review by admitting that this type of restaurant is not my ideal setting, so I am not the best judge but I am non-biased. I will also add that I arrived at 6PM and didn't leave until after midnight. That's a pretty good indicator that I really enjoyed myself.

Fest Beir...Seasonal beer for fall. Brewed right here at the restaurant. Best beer EVER!! Food is outstanding! I ordered the steak medallions with shrimp. Awesome food & atmosphere.

The only reason this gets an extra star over King St Grille (just down the street) is because our waitress was amazing & I loved their extensive (and cheap) app menu. We sat out on the covered patio, which is lovely & intimate. We started with the goat cheese bruschetta and calamari . . . there were actually about 4 apps I wanted to try but the fish & chips looked good also, so that's what I ordered. The fish was okay - it was more fish-sticky than I prefer, although I do believe that it was fresh/never frozen, I think I am more used to beer battered, not panko fried fish. Husband had the burger which was great & those sweet potato fries were also very very tasty. All in all, none of the Market Commons restaurants disappointed at all, and Gordon Biersch was no exception.

My boyfriend and I shared the calamari which was pretty good. He got the Cajun pasta which he really enjoyed. I wanted to eat something a bit lighter, and had the Baja tacos. I'm not sure what sauce is on them but they were so spicy, I couldn't taste the food. The beer sampler was fun to try. The staff was typically nice. I guess I imagined something else.

Was there for happy hour and sat on the outside side of the bar and had appetizers and drinks. The specials were on par with pricing of happy hour. The food was very yummy and came out rather quick. The only downside of the experience was it was hard to get attention from the bartenders to order more stuff so we had to bulk order things so we wouldn't have to wait for more food or drinks.

We went here for lunch on a Friday. We were all in the mood for a burger, and they did not disappoint. All 3 of us had the BBQ Bacon cheeseburger. My sister and I actually split one, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. They cut it before they brought it out, and split the fries and everything. The portion size was just right for lunch. We all just had plain fries which were good. We had 2 Hefeweizen beers, which they brew on site. In fact we were told by the server that they make EVERYTHING from scratch. I was floored, and quite frankly based on how good everything was, I believe it. We also had 2 of the dessert minis , both the chocolate cake. They are served in a shot glass. I enjoyed mine so much that I am not embarrassed to say I licked the glass. They were also offering a seasonal pumpkin vanilla cheesecake with whiskey sauce- so we got one to go. I was floored when we tried it. It was AMAZING. The service was good, the food was good, we will absolutely be back. The restaurant's bar opens to the outdoor dining area, and they have TVs with games on. The outdoor dining area is covered and looks like a great place to enjoy a meal in nice weather. This place is located at the Market Common, so a good place to eat before or after doing some shopping.

Great variety of delicious food accompanies awesome beer brewed in house! Happy hour is a great time to go to try different beers and a good drink menu also. The chicken sandwich was big and very good! Don't forget to try their incredible garlic fries while you're sipping your beer!

Beer is good as is blue cheese burger and blackened mahi. Perhaps we arrived to late but we thought garlic fries way overrated and same for blue cheese bacon chips. Place is clean and courteous staff.

Love the food and the beer here. Great happy hour specials too. You can get a fresh pizza for $5 and a good size beer for the same and have a nice dinner for around 10 dollars. Can't beat that. I love everything I have eaten here. I really like sandwiches and pizzas but I have tried friends and family's entrees before and everything has been great. Best spot to grab dinner and a beer at Market common.

Great service, great beer, great food. It's a good thing I don't live closer otherwise I'd be here every night. Love the outdoor seating & the garage style bar doors that open to the Patio. Their seasonals are always great, and their Marzen is fantastic. Add to that lobster Mac & cheese (yum!), a well thought out kids menu, and you've got something for everyone.

Awesome! The beers were good, I had the czeck style beer which was like a Stella and my wife had the heffaweizen. We also got a complimentary taste of the summer brau which was good, like a light beer. For dinner we had the steak frites and ahi tuna steak and both were very good. This was my first time at gb and we definitely plan to go back very soon. Our server was also very nice, Kristen I think and Jason hostess guy was nice.

We stopped in this place after walking around all the stores in the area. I was skeptical about the food but I was hungry and thirsty on a very humid and rainy day in myrtle beach so we took our chances and scored! This place has outdoor seating with a large awning overhead so you are protected from rain. It also has a large indoor section around the bar as well as a dining room. In the back of the dining room you can see the vats they brew the beer in as well as see the cooks in the open kitchen. I ordered a mojito which was so refreshing that I almost finished it in one gulp. The bartender made it exactly how I requested it (extra sweet) and my hubby got a great tasting beer that lasted all of five seconds. We ordered lunch - I got the pulled pork sandwich and changed the side of garlic fries to sweet potato fries while my hubby ordered the cheeseburger which came with the garlic fries. Our meals were outstanding. The pork was served on a brioche roll that had been toasted with butter and a large scoop of coleslaw was under the pork. The pork was overflowing from the sandwich. I had to scrape at least half of the pork off to the plate in order to eat the sandwich. It was so good I can't put it to words. Once the sandwich was devoured, I finished the other half of the pork while on my second mojito. YUM! The cheeseburger was good. It was pretty average but it was cooked to order. My husband likes his burgers rare or medium rare which most restaurants in SC will not cook. The law mandates at least medium. Crazy....but this place delivered on his request and he was very happy. The garlic fries were tasty. I was afraid they would be overpowering, but they were seasoned very well. The sweet potato fries were delicious. There was nothing left on either of our plates. The service was excellent. I will say that the dining room was virtually empty. Most people were either at the bar or sitting outside enjoying the break between rain storms. So, our server may have been more attentive due to the lack of tables inside but he was super friendly and kept checking in on us and got us our next rounds before we were dry which is a very nice bonus. This was our first time eating at Gordon Biersch and I would definitely try another location after this experience. If you're looking for a place to watch a game and get some good beer or just want to hang out and have some good food that isn't going to burn your wallet, this is the place to go. Good food, good drinks at reasonable prices and nice atmosphere.

Had lunch here today and it was forgettable to say the least. We started with the Lobster Bisque which was salty and had no actual lobster pieces anywhere to be found. For our entree, we picked the shrimp po boy, which prove to be a tasteless dish. Another member in our party ordered the Pesto Chicken Wrap which was tasteful and well prepared. The only thing that I can truthfully say was enjoyable where the garlic french fries that accompanied our entrees.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Gordon Biersch. It exceeded my expectations because with my experience, food is usually an afterthought at some breweries. Not so here, the food was amazing! When we were seated, our drink orders were promptly taken and suggestions were made on their beer. They also pointed out that all their beer and food are made in house. Everything on the menu looked so good, it took my husband and I awhile to decide on what we wanted. Our waitress suggested that she put the kids' meals in first so they wouldn't have to wait. I had their Mahi Mahi sandwich with garlic fries- garlic fries are a MUST here! My kids were fighting over the last fry! The staff was friendly and our waitress was incredibly nice. She took care of us well. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I commented that we wish we had found out about it sooner during the week so we could have come back a second time before leaving for home.

My mom recently moved to SC so strait off the plane I was famished and she took me here. Thanks for the lunch mom! The waitress was very friendly and attentive, even though it seemed the establishment is super busy outside because of the great weather, we were able to get a booth inside. They have their own beer and it was pretty good. We shared an entree salad and one of the sampler platters. All great flavored and were brought out promptly. Ill be back whenever I can. We even had food left over from the platter for later on :)

Came here for our dinner on our first night of vacation. Everyone was very friendly and service was top notch. Ordered the Lobster & Shrimp mac and cheese and loved it. The bread stick that came with it was amazing! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and drinks. Had a mixed drink so I can't comment on their beer. Couldn't turn down the happy hour prices!

Had a gift card someone gave us so tried this place. Not bad, not good. Server was excellent friendly and knowledgeable. Think probably better just to get a appetizer rather than a entree. My glazed chicken and grilled shrimp were ok but nothing special. Hubby had the brat starter which he said was excellent. A bit pricey for what you get. My entree with rice and a few veggies was $17. The hummus app was like $5 and you didn't get much and not good. Hubby gave it a D, I was more generous and would give it a C. Too many other good places to rather than here as nothing special here. Did try one of their beers a Marzan - not bad.

We've eaten here 4 times now when we've traveled to Myrtle Beach. The beer is always good and the food is always consistently good. We bring our kids and they have always enjoyed the food off the kid menu and I like having a choice of sides. The service is hit or miss, so that does make it hard when eating with kids. But, luckily the place is loud, has TVs, and crayons to keep them entertained.

Food was good, desert was fantastic. Service not close to being on par. If they aren't too busy and they seat you in the smaller room on the right, be prepared for getting lost in space by your server. We ordered food, drinks & salads at the same time. Drinks came out a little slow, but acceptable. Salads never showed, our server was no where to be found. Finally we flagged down another server to inquire about delivery of salads. About 2 minutes later, out comes salad & entrees at the same time. Still no sign of original server. Drinks empty...guess who finally shows up...our server. But she does not come into our area, instead goes to the stand where servers input orders and begins conversation with other servers. I finally get her attention and she comes right over, ask for fresh drinks. Ok, about 5 mins later they show up. Again, restaurant is not crowded. When we get 2nd round of drinks, we order desert. 10 mins later, we flag down another server to inquire status of our desert. A few minutes later, another server brings them. Our original server shows back up another 10 mins after we finish desert to see how it was and if she could get us anything else. I politely asked for the check, she said she would get it and be "right back". Wife excuses herself to the ladies room. She is gone a couple of mins later and asks if we are ready to go. I chuckled and said still waiting for check. No kidding, it's another 5 mins after wife gets back before we get our check. I paid cash so wouldn't have to wait for cc transaction or we would have been ordering breakfast. This is the 2nd time it has in the last 3 months it has taken us over 90 minutes from being seated to leaving. Next time we decide to patronize the place, i WILL absolutely refuse that section of the restaurant. (An older couple was seated beside us about 30 mins into our meal...10 mins later he went to the hostess stand to ask if they had a server. I BELIEVE A MANAGER/ASST MANAGER NEEDS TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE STATION WHERE SERVERS PUT ORDERS IN...seems to be a gathering spot for servers to congregate and lose touch with patrons.

We were in town for the Myrtle Beach Marathon and ate here for lunch and dinner, among other restaurants. There's a GB in DC, so there was comfort in knowing we could find something we liked on the menu. Always a good thing when you're on the road with little time to spare. The menu is extensive, so yes, everyone will find something. There's no nod to local tastes or anything weird. It's a large space, so the wait wasn't long at all for two on a Saturday night (like 10 minutes). Lots of free parking in the Market Commons area. What I liked: "Rye of the Tiger" seasonal beer. Medium amber ale. What I didn't like: Garlic fries - Limp, soggy, very heavy garlic flavor. The dirty dishcloth that sat on the railing in plain view. We watched several servers use it to wipe tables then return to its perch above the diners' heads on the railing. Overall, a solid place for a meal, but don't expect exciting flavors or interesting selections.

Went to Gordon Biersch with a party of six. Service was great. Food was great, beer was great. Two of us had burgers, excellent, cooked, great! One in our party got the brownie sundae for her entree? It was excellent. One of us got, soup and a salad, one of us got flat bread pizza, looked great, tasted greatr. Another got a regular pizza. Really nice evening, with good food, service, and atmosphere. Thanks Gordon Biersch!

The Gordon Biersch at Market Common is our standby choice for a weeknight meal or a place to bring guests from out of town. The food is consistently good, the beer is brewed in-house, and the staff is usually very friendly. While we each have our favorite regular menu items, the real highlight is the rotating seasonal menu, which always pairs well with the seasonal brew on tap. Not to be missed: the fish tacos and Maibock (about 7% ABV).

Got the Mac & cheese w/lobster & shrimp. There was no lobster at all in this! When I told the waitress, she told me it was shredded. Well then, it should have specified that in description. Won't be back anytime soon!

My husband and I were in Myrtle Beach looking for upscale bar atmosphere. We were tired having just arrived to Myrtle Beach and decided to take a chance. Surprisingly impressed by the excellent service, friendly staff and our meal was so good! Their garlic French fries were fantastic!! We will return for sure on our next trip. Myrtle Beach has so many restaurants that are NOT good. This is a must for you to try!

We've eaten at the DC Biersch many times, so we were happy to come across this location. Biersch always has enough vegetarian items on the menu to "piece together" a meal. We noticed though, at the bottom of the menu, it says "vegetarian menu available upon request." Wha? So we got one of those, and they have A LOT of stuff! I wasn't terribly hungry, so I got Tapas: roasted garlic, bruschetta, olive tapenade and hummus with herb flatbread, a side of grilled asparagus, and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. This was all for me and my 4 year old to share. It was all good, and we had a lot of the tapas left over, so we brought that home to munch on. My husband got some veggie tacos off the vegetarian menu, and he said they were really good. He also got a lot of beer, since it is a brewery and all. We can always count on Biersch.

I went here twice while visiting my parents. The beers have always been good (ever since my misspent youth in SoCal), and this continued. The first trip we sat in the dining room with about 8 people and had great service and great food. The second time we had 4 people and ate in the bar, service was subpar. Also, the happy hour app menu is appealing, but on this trip the food that derived from it was not. All in all, I would go back and sit in the dining room.

Delicious beer because of on site brewery but food was lack luster. I got fish and chips and it was very bland and lacked anything special. The garlic fries are delicious, but no honey mustard!! Other person in my party got fish tacos, which were better than my meal, but still not super impressive.

Way overpriced, tasteless chips the pork sandwich taste like out of a can. My wife ordered a grilled cheese with avocado mayo, no avocado. We ordered soups they never arrived. In a nutshell, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Even though this place is a chain, it's on my must hit list when I visit Myrtle Beach. I'm a big fan of their Marzen brew and they have had some really good seasonals on tap as well. The food is usually pretty good as well with a nice variety, although a little bit on the pricey-er side. Wait-staff has always been pretty friendly but occasionally a little slow. They have a great patio/outdoor seating and bar area in a nice, new mixed use shopping area. Parking is a bit of a pain. Typically around the corner about a block away behind the restaurant.

If you're going to the bar for bar food and beers you'll have fun. If you're going for dinner I recommend trying somewhere else. It is usually very crowded but the servers generally do a very good job of keeping up with it. The simpler you stay with the offerings on the menu the happier you will be. Some of the more complex dishes like lobster mac and cheese miss the mark.

Let me start off by saying that my husband and I had originally planned on eating at Nacho Hippo but after waiting for over 10 minutes after being seated and still no site of a server we left and decided to try the brewery my husband had spotted when we were looking for parking. We went to Gordon biersch on an especially good day, they were serving $2.50 beers in celebration of their 25th anniversary. Their 25th anniversary brew was delicious! It was light, sweet, and refreshing. My husband got the Kobe beef cheese burger with bacon and blue cheese and declared it the best burger he'd ever had and I'd have to agree. I had the Cajun fish tacos and they were perfect. They were so buttery and just melted in your mouth. This was our first date since our son was born 4 months ago and it was perfect. Great beer, amazing food, and excellent service. Our food came out in what seemed like a matter of minutes! Will definitely be going back!

Never trust a menu that is all over the place. Why not focus on a few things and do them right? There was everything from mexican to chinese to american. My veggie burger was ok. Too much onion. Their beers are not good. Will not be back.

The food was nothing special especially for the amount of money you will pay for it. I will not go back.

The apps are good and the mains are fine but the beers are first rate. Grab a bar stool and sample away. Their seasonal beers are always terrific especially in the fall and winter

The egg rolls rock! They have no hint of asian flavor- it's more of a southwestern take on the theme. Black beans and all. I ordered the beer cheese soup- excellent! If they were in my hometown I'd be in trouble. I also ordered the Gorgonzola Pear salad. It was refreshing but a little bland. The vinaigrette is so weak I couldn't really tell that there was dressing on it at all. My husband loved his bleu cheese burger (which came with garlic fries) and the house caberbet sauvignon made me remember why I like red wine. The staff was very friendly, if not a bit... ambitious. I would definitely want to return. hours: Sunday thru Thursday: 11AM till Midnight Friday and Saturday: 11AM till 1:30AM

the food is great but the service is indeed terrible. I continue to go back there b/c they have the best garlic fries and I never had anything bad there. They could use a little work on their service.

This place has one of the best house salads I have ever had and I know that seems like a small thing but I get it every time. The food is good. I love the calamari with the jalapeno aioli and the southwest chicken sandwich. My boyfriend and I never get a bad meal here. The garlic fries are great except you will need a breath mint! The staff is very friendly and the bartender knows our drinks already. It's a great place to go for a football game and they have a trivia night. If you get on their preferred list then you can get the huge beer glass!

A wide diversity on the menu and a lot of good specials - my wife and I have tried a number of them and have found them all to be fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. GB is located in a area with several fine restaurants but this is our overall favorite.

We have been going for two years for happy hour. Beers are always excellent as is food. Had the brats tonight which were tasty. Garlic fries always good.

Great beer. I love their flights of beer, not a bad one in the bunch. Food and service are really good, too.

Nice snacks to eat and the home made beer was really good. I don't even drink beer. I am craving it now too. The atmosphere is fab too.

We had a large group and the waitress forgot to put in half of the table's order. Their meals ended up being free but we were there forever because of it. The lobster and shrimp tacos were ahh-mazing!

(4)
Alicia A.

Mike D.

Had a group of four. We all loved our meals. I had the fish tacos and they were outstanding. Martinis & beer was great. Service was great. Atmosphere good to. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent beer and sports bar for watching ball games. Service was very good and enjoyed appetizers and Kobe beef burger with garlic fries for my entree.

A yearly stop on our Myrtle vacation. Food is always good and the beer is awesome. The Heffeweizen is the best I've ever had.

Ate here last night and had a great meal! The food was so good, but a tad on the expensive side. The wait staff was very nice, she got out our food fast. I enjoyed it and will return!

(2)
Elizabeth O.
The food was nothing special especially for the amount of money you will pay for it. I will not go back.

Pricey, food on par with an Applebee's, service was fair. Nothing special here except the beer.

I'll keep it short and sweet. Beer was good. Kobe burgers were really good. Garlic fries smelled more like garlic than tasted like garlic. Service was really nice. I could imagine parking being tricky on a busy night or weekend since it is in Market Common.
(4)Sherry C.
(5)Shonda W.

(5)Michael N.
(3)Neil P.

(5)Duane S.

(5)Bryan C.
Excellent beer. The prosciutto and Gorgonzola chips are so so good. They come with small Mushrooms and figs. Try them they, you be disappointed. Scenery is nice(people watching) and our server was great.
(4)Scotty C.
(3)Mike M.
We have been going for two years for happy hour. Beers are always excellent as is food. Had the brats tonight which were tasty. Garlic fries always good.
(5)Monica C.
(5)Anthony F.
Great beer. I love their flights of beer, not a bad one in the bunch. Food and service are really good, too.
(5)Dan D.
Not really a fan anymore. They got rid of the Rueben a few years back, and nothing else has really wowed me. The only excitement is the beer sampler, where you get a few ounces of each of their brews. It's like two beers worth, and then I usually get a full glass of whichever was my favorite.
(3)Lin D.
Our food was wonderful! My grilled mahi with veggies and seasonsal fruit was healthy and delish
(5)phoebe c.
(2)Jenn H.
(4)Ryan S.
(3)Joelle K.
(4)Carolyn D.
Stopped in for a drink and it was a really nice place, ended up having desert, great service, would definitely go back.
(5)Paul G.
(4)Honest A.
(3)Vivien V.
Nice snacks to eat and the home made beer was really good. I don't even drink beer. I am craving it now too. The atmosphere is fab too.
(5)Matt K.
(5)Ann E.
Okay, so we came back tonight. I am so happy to say that the Oktoberfest Platter was absolutely delicious. So glad we went back. Have to add that the Fest Beer was also delicious. Way to go, Gordon's!
(4)Don D.
(4)Byron J.
The food here is great...good to fair service but the lack of servers knowledge of the Gluten free menu and what Gluten free allergies is a big problem in today's society
(2)Rosa M.
1st time here...great bar menu..great specials...Beautiful location. .awesome friendly people...great beer. Great desserts.
(5)Irene H.
The food was mediocre. I hoped for better. I don't drink alcohol, so I cannot comment on the drinks. Service was friendly and attentive.
(3)Jerelym B.
I had the best salmon of my life here! Chef knows what he/she is doing. Beer is served at perfect temperature. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.
(5)Caroline R.
Served us overcooked rice that was hard as rocks. Luckily, they had a new batch made and brought more out quickly but I'm shocked that they would serve rice like that in the first place. Wow.
(2)Amy T.
(4)Dennis L.
A regular stop for us, awesome food and what great beer!!! Always a good day when hanging out in Market Commons.

Garlic fries are a must. The pulled pork sandwich is awesome! Good selection of beers. Its good place to just sit at the bar and have a few drinks.

(5)Lillian A.
Went there for dinner on a Tuesday night The service was good but the food was not and they are way overpriced. I had the pear gorgonzola salad that was swimming in a nasty dressing..I couldn't even taste the salad.
(3)Jessica G.
(5)Frank E.

(2)Kate T.
Love this place! First time hear and the atmosphere is great! Service is prompt and the beer, pretzels, and brats are so good! Definitely a do again.
(5)Buck O.
(4)Joan W.
(1)Mike W.
Awesome restaurant or bar. Whichever you're in the mood for. Live music in the park nearby on Thursday nights you can listen to from the patio area. I recommend trying the beer sampler. The bartenders love washing all those little glasses anyways!
(5)Lisa S.
We like brewery restaurants and we like Gordon Biersch. But we should have stuck to what we like. At least we would have gotten our money's worth. We order the shrimp po' boy and they were good but not enough food for the money. Great homemade chips, beer, no complaints on taste or service.
(3)Hailey P.
Gordon Biersch has pretty good drinks and appetizers. But damn, their sandwiches and burgers are pretty greasy. I have tried other entrees, and they were hit or miss. I like the atmosphere of the place though.
(3)Michael C.
Wrong beer served. Missed salad, but delivered at the end of the meal. Burger was dry and overcooked. The beer was great though. The service was slow and obviously didn't pay attention. I was hoping for a better experience.
(2)Jeoph N.
Consistently delicious. A nice variety of food, from appetizer to entree. I generally do not trust chains, even though this is not a large national chain, but Gordon Biersch finds a way to make it seem unique and one of a kind.
(5)Jenna R.
(5)Richard H.
(2)Jim D.
(5)Ron C.
Great beer, burgers, and sliders.. Garlic fries are addictive.. There twice this week
(5)Jeremy D.
(4)Brice S.
3 pm on a Friday with less than 20 people inside. We were greeted at the door and sat down immediately. 15 minutes later with no server we walked out and walked a couple blocks to Nacho Hippo.....
(1)Jean B.
Only had the filet mignon sliders ...... Wonderful!!!!! We will be back to try more. Love the ambience and the great selection of small bites. That is the way we like to eat!
(5)Conrad F.
always enjoy coming here. great location .good beer . fantastic Sunday brunch. good waitstaff. Jessie , manager , knocks herself out , keeping things running smoothly . one of our favorite places . Conrad .

(4)Theresa J.
Amazing BBQ sandwich and they have a GF menu! Seafood Cobb salad was basic but very fresh. Kids meals were all eaten, so that is a good thing. Home made Root beer for the kids.
(5)Joseph R.
My favorite place to go every year when I visit the in laws in myrtle beach. Great food great location and the beer is awesome .
(4)Renee E.
(4)Drew L.
(4)Lexy S.
We had a large group and the waitress forgot to put in half of the table's order. Their meals ended up being free but we were there forever because of it. The lobster and shrimp tacos were ahh-mazing!
(3)Barry S.
Fest Beir...Seasonal beer for fall. Brewed right here at the restaurant. Best beer EVER!! Food is outstanding! I ordered the steak medallions with shrimp. Awesome food & atmosphere.
(5)Caroline M.
(4)Alicia A.
(3)Mike D.
(4)Ann Marie D.
(5)Nick P.
Great variety of delicious food accompanies awesome beer brewed in house! Happy hour is a great time to go to try different beers and a good drink menu also. The chicken sandwich was big and very good! Don't forget to try their incredible garlic fries while you're sipping your beer!
(5)Sarah S.
Beer is good as is blue cheese burger and blackened mahi. Perhaps we arrived to late but we thought garlic fries way overrated and same for blue cheese bacon chips. Place is clean and courteous staff.
(3)Kelly L.
(5)Nancy P.
(4)Brian U.
(5)Christine H.
(4)Roy M.
(2)Marjorie N.
(5)Tanja P.
(4)Jordan P.
(5)Karen F.
(3)Carly N.
(4)Ken P.

The Schwarzbier is the best!
(5)Bill H.
(4)Brett M.
(4)Kathy F.
Got the Mac & cheese w/lobster & shrimp. There was no lobster at all in this! When I told the waitress, she told me it was shredded. Well then, it should have specified that in description. Won't be back anytime soon!
(2)Jon H.
Excellent beer and sports bar for watching ball games. Service was very good and enjoyed appetizers and Kobe beef burger with garlic fries for my entree.
(5)Thomas B.
A yearly stop on our Myrtle vacation. Food is always good and the beer is awesome. The Heffeweizen is the best I've ever had.
(5)Rachel A.
(4)Kelly K.
(4)Big E.
(4)Angie B.
Great happy hour!
(4)Carol A.
Ate here last night and had a great meal! The food was so good, but a tad on the expensive side. The wait staff was very nice, she got out our food fast. I enjoyed it and will return!
(4)Jacob S.
had the lunch mahi mahi and it was great, seasond with just the right amont of salt and pepper
(4)Hannah I.
Delicious beer because of on site brewery but food was lack luster. I got fish and chips and it was very bland and lacked anything special. The garlic fries are delicious, but no honey mustard!! Other person in my party got fish tacos, which were better than my meal, but still not super impressive.
(3)Phil L.
Way overpriced, tasteless chips the pork sandwich taste like out of a can. My wife ordered a grilled cheese with avocado mayo, no avocado. We ordered soups they never arrived. In a nutshell, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
(1)Danny A.
(4)AJes M.
Very good food - great beer! great kid menu options. I was very happy and the environment was super! Our waitress worked very hard and was extremely friendly!
(5)Julie S.
Had a group of four. We all loved our meals. I had the fish tacos and they were outstanding. Martinis & beer was great. Service was great. Atmosphere good to. Can't wait to go back!
(5)Amber K.

(5)Liza M.
Never trust a menu that is all over the place. Why not focus on a few things and do them right? There was everything from mexican to chinese to american. My veggie burger was ok. Too much onion. Their beers are not good. Will not be back.
(2)Elizabeth O.
The food was nothing special especially for the amount of money you will pay for it. I will not go back.
(2)Mike B.
Pricey, food on par with an Applebee's, service was fair. Nothing special here except the beer.
(2)Doug P.
The apps are good and the mains are fine but the beers are first rate. Grab a bar stool and sample away. Their seasonal beers are always terrific especially in the fall and winter
(3)Nick A.
Horrible food. Poor service. Waited more than an hour to get order taken. Waitress never came back to check on us.
(1)Amanda M.
We love it here! Eat outside and enjoy.
(5)Diane D.
(4)Cheryl P.
the food is great but the service is indeed terrible. I continue to go back there b/c they have the best garlic fries and I never had anything bad there. They could use a little work on their service.
(3)L b.
Terrible service, server got our order wrong twice and was unapologetic about the situation. Not recommended. Overpriced and under par. Go elsewhere.
(2)lindsay j.
(4)Hobart M.
A wide diversity on the menu and a lot of good specials - my wife and I have tried a number of them and have found them all to be fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. GB is located in a area with several fine restaurants but this is our overall favorite.
(5)Suzzette M.
I'll keep it short and sweet. Beer was good. Kobe burgers were really good. Garlic fries smelled more like garlic than tasted like garlic. Service was really nice. I could imagine parking being tricky on a busy night or weekend since it is in Market Common.
(4)Sherry C.
(5)Shonda W.

(5)Duane S.

(5)Bryan C.
Excellent beer. The prosciutto and Gorgonzola chips are so so good. They come with small Mushrooms and figs. Try them they, you be disappointed. Scenery is nice(people watching) and our server was great.
(4)Scotty C.
(3)Mike M.
We have been going for two years for happy hour. Beers are always excellent as is food. Had the brats tonight which were tasty. Garlic fries always good.
(5)Monica C.
(5)Anthony F.
Great beer. I love their flights of beer, not a bad one in the bunch. Food and service are really good, too.
(5)Michael N.
(3)Dan D.
(2)Jenn H.
(4)Ryan S.
(3)Joelle K.
(4)Carolyn D.
Stopped in for a drink and it was a really nice place, ended up having desert, great service, would definitely go back.
(5)Paul G.
(4)Honest A.
(3)Vivien V.
Nice snacks to eat and the home made beer was really good. I don't even drink beer. I am craving it now too. The atmosphere is fab too.
(5)Matt K.
(5)Ann E.
Okay, so we came back tonight. I am so happy to say that the Oktoberfest Platter was absolutely delicious. So glad we went back. Have to add that the Fest Beer was also delicious. Way to go, Gordon's!
(4)Don D.
Wow.
(2)Amy T.
(4)Dennis L.
A regular stop for us, awesome food and what great beer!!! Always a good day when hanging out in Market Commons.
(4)Barbara C.
(5)Kendrith D.
Garlic fries are a must. The pulled pork sandwich is awesome! Good selection of beers. Its good place to just sit at the bar and have a few drinks.
(5)Kat B.
(5)Lillian A.
Went there for dinner on a Tuesday night The service was good but the food was not and they are way overpriced. I had the pear gorgonzola salad that was swimming in a nasty dressing..I couldn't even taste the salad.
(3)Jessica G.
(5)Frank E.
(5)Karen K.
(2)Kate T.
Love this place! First time hear and the atmosphere is great! Service is prompt and the beer, pretzels, and brats are so good! Definitely a do again.
(5)Buck O.
(4)Joan W.
(5)Jenna R.
(5)Richard H.
(2)Jim D.
(5)Ron C.
Great beer, burgers, and sliders.. Garlic fries are addictive.. There twice this week
(5)Jeremy D.
Conrad .
(5)Rob B.

My favorite place to go every year when I visit the in laws in myrtle beach. Great food great location and the beer is awesome .
(4)Renee E.

(4)Alicia A.
(3)Mike D.

(3)Kelly L.
(5)Nancy P.
(4)Brian U.
(5)Tanja P.
(4)Jordan P.
(5)Karen F.
(3)Carly N.
(4)Christine H.
(4)Marjorie N.
(5)Roy M.
(2)Ken P.
(2)Julie S.
Had a group of four. We all loved our meals. I had the fish tacos and they were outstanding. Martinis & beer was great. Service was great. Atmosphere good to. Can't wait to go back!
(5)Amber K.

The Schwarzbier is the best!
(5)Bill H.
(4)Brett M.
(4)Kelly K.
(4)Big E.
(1)Danny A.
(4)AJes M.
Very good food - great beer! great kid menu options. I was very happy and the environment was super! Our waitress worked very hard and was extremely friendly!
(5)Anne S.
(5)Diane D.
(4)Hobart M.
A wide diversity on the menu and a lot of good specials - my wife and I have tried a number of them and have found them all to be fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. GB is located in a area with several fine restaurants but this is our overall favorite.
(5)
